Boxing: Tuesdays 7.30 – 9 pm

Mixed Martial Arts and Self defence: Thursdays 7.30 – 9 pm

Solstar Kids: Thursdays 6pm – 7pm. 

Additional boxing class on Sunday

One of our coaches, provides an additional boxing class for Solstar members on Sunday at the reduced rate. If you have any questions drop us a line and we can put you in touch.

What to expect:

We start sessions with a warm-up, so make sure you’re on time for that to make sure you avoid injury. We then typically do some technical work, some drills, padwork or partner work, before moving on to sparring and fitness circuits.

 


Introductory sessions

Intro classes are generally once a month. We haven’t set a date yet, but will be late June or early July.

What to expect:

Some paperwork (!) and the basics of the sport. This will include how to stand, how to move, how to throw a punch, how to kick (if relevant), and how to defend yourself.

What to bring:

Bring some water and make sure you wear appropriate clothing (something comfortable that you can move in, a sports bra if necessary), and appropriate footwear for boxing sessions – trainers or boxing boots are fine. Thursday sessions are done barefoot.

Oh, and bring your mates!
